A SOFT LIFE RESET

Sundays have become my sacred reset - a time to slow down, reconnect, and refill my cup before the week ahead. Between studio sessions, travel, and life’s constant motion, I’ve learned that caring for my body and spirit is an intentional luxury; a necessary form of self-love.

Here’s how I unwind and realign: a ritual that leaves me feeling grounded, grateful, and glowing from the inside out.


1. Set the Intention: Stillness

I start by lighting a candle. In this season, I love NEOM’s Perfect Peace Scented Candle - the uplifting scents of lime, fir and myrrh helps to lift tension away. I take a few deep breaths and set an intention: to slow down and be fully present.

As someone who’s often travelling, scents like these instantly help me relax and feel grounded in new spaces. I like to think of this first step as pressing “reset” - both energetically and emotionally.


2. Take the Day Off: Melt & Release

After a long day filming or performing, I reach for Estée Lauder’s Cleansing Balm. The buttery texture melts away makeup effortlessly while leaving my skin soft and hydrated. There’s something meditative about this step - it feels like washing away the day’s energy, too.

I also take this moment to say something kind to myself in the mirror - “I’m so proud of you,” or “You’re incredible.” It might sound a little cringey, but affirmations have truly changed my life. They give me permission to uplift my inner child, let go of perfection, and reflect on the wins of the day - big or small.


3. Bath Time Bliss: Soak & Release

Next, if I can, I draw a warm bath and add a handful of Aveda’s Stress-Fix Soaking Salts. The lavender aroma instantly melts away tension. I set the tone with my Soft Life playlist - a mix of soulful R&B for multiple streams of peace.

As I soak, I let the warm water still my thoughts, releasing any stress, self-doubt, or tendency to overthink. My favourite lyric from my upcoming single Just Breathe always comes to mind:

4. Skin Love: Cleanse, Brighten, Restore

Post-bath, I move into skincare - a simple routine that nourishes my skin and resets my spirit.

Each step feels like an act of love - for my skin, my body, and my peace.


5. Nourish: Rest & Reconnect

Before bed, I like to read a few pages of something soul-nourishing - lately The Artist’s Way.

I also sip on warm lemon tea. Staying hydrated help me recover after long creative days, while lemon aids digestion - it’s been a nightly habit for years, especially during the colder months. I then massage Aveda’s Stress-Fix Body Crème into my skin. The scent is divine, leaving me soft, relaxed, and ready to rest.

Sometimes, I meditate or journal affirmations, focusing on my breath and gratitude.


For me, a soft life isn’t about slowing down ambition; it’s about softening my thoughts, leading with intention, and trusting that what’s meant for you won’t miss you.
