LONG STORY SHORT
Hope you’ve had a month of expansion. February’s been full of love and reconnecting with what matters most. As the sun begins to promise spring—are you ready for your blessings?
For this month’s vlog, come behind the scenes of my BBC interview, plus news on a Warner Brothers commercial! I reflect on new music, travel, and honouring boundaries.
Life has felt lighter and more promising lately. I’ve been opening up to more happiness in my thoughts through daily meditation and prayer, in my body through intentional rest and yoga flows, and in my soul through meaningful catch-ups with friends and my chosen family. It’s been renewing.
The seeds that I planted in my life five years ago, before the pandemic, are finally starting to sprout in real time. I’m both amazed and, at times, catch myself feeling ungrateful—like, why did it have to take so long?
I’m reminded of the saying: “The day you plant the seed is not the day you eat the fruit.” Often, our minds may have envisioned further than what can be achieved in the moment—so when that dream does manifest in real time, how can we truly appreciate it? I’m practicing being proud and grateful for my younger self—you’ve come so far, baby girl. I’m also celebrating my effort and the journey more than just my achievements and the destination. I’m finding more joy in the process and letting go of everything else. I’m not perfect, but I’m finding grace and comfort in being human.
I’m also in a space where I feel more confident saying ‘no’ to opportunities that don’t align with me. It’s tough—it’s never easy to stay true to yourself. I’m not perfect, but I believe that the more you say YES to things that align with your higher self, let go of pride, and stay grateful for the present, the easier it becomes to say NO to what no longer serves you.
Your time, your energy, your resources—they are precious. So I guess what I’m saying is, we should value ourselves and trust our boundaries. Don’t let anyone define this for you. Even if it takes longer, it will last. I’m here to create a sustainable life, not just fleeting moments of success. What goes up must come down, but I believe I’m in a place where I’m building something I’m truly proud of—instead of getting caught up in the rush.
I’m ready to jump back into the studio to finish my EP next month. Can’t wait to take you behind the scenes and share more of my process with you.
